A guided tour is what you need if you want to make the most of your time in the Louvre Museum. By booking your visit in advance you can indeed skip the queue, which is usually quite long. We recommend you to choose an early morning tour and to pay a little more for a small group with a maximum of 15 people as you'll get an expert guide-interpreter and a lot more privacy.
