Beauvais airport
Beauvais is the third and the
smallest of the three airports serving Paris after
Roissy and Orly. It is located 85km (55 miles) north from Paris city center. The airport counts two
very simple terminals and welcomes european flights from low cost airlines (Ryanair, Wizzair, Blue Air, ...). Find here under our
information about airport transportation (Shuttles, taxis, coach - bus services, ...), airlines, maps and directions to - from Paris.

Transfers - Transportation services
Beauvais airport is not very well connected to city center:
Travellers are given the choice of either a taxi, a bus or an airport shuttle
transfer. Here is our guide to airport transportation.
Airport shuttles
Airport Shuttle is a very convenient way to get to and
from Beauvais as it is the only door to door transfer option at flat rate. However don't expect to find any desk in the arrival
terminal to book your transfer at the very last minute. The journey must indeed be
booked in advance. This is the law. Few airport shuttle providers serve the
airport.

Taxis
Taxis are easy to locate waiting for customers in front of
the terminal's main exit door. Taxis use fare meters. Due to the long distance
between the airport and Paris city center the total fare for a transfer should be
about 140 to 180 euros and the duration of the journey 60 minutes. However
expect total fare and travel times to be higher during rush-hour times (mostly 7am-9am and 4pm-7pm).

Train
The train is not the best mean of transportation as
travellers first have to take a taxi from the airport to get to the train
station located downtown Beauvais (13 to 16 Euros) and then take a train heading
to Gare du Nord station (Train ticket to pay). The transfer time may then exceed
2 hours.
